Welcome to the Terry Kath site! Terry Kath was a true guitar hero. He co-founded rock group Chicago and was the band's original lead guitarist from 1967-his untimely death in 1978. Kath's fiery guitar skills gave Chicago its rock edge. The other bandmembers were in awe of his amazing ability to play by ear. He appeard in eleven albums all of which earned at least Gold Certification. Equally vital to the band's early success was his soulful voice.
